Women Political Prisoners Request Public Trial for Narges Mohammadi on Jun 8th 2024

Thirty-six women political and ideological prisoners in Evin Prison have requested that Narges Mohammadi’s court on June 8th be held publicly in Branch 29 of the Revolutionary Court, with the presence of witnesses and narrators of abuse, harassment, and sexual assault, as well as independent media. These requests have been submitted to the office of the women’s ward in Evin Prison.

This court session, to address the charge of “propaganda against the regime” due to her protest and narration of sexual assault against imprisoned and detained women, will be held on June 8th.

سی و شش نفر از زنان زندانی سیاسی- عقیدتی زندان اوین در خواست کرده اند دادگاه نرگس محمدی در تاریخ ۱۹ خرداد در شعبه ۲۹ دادگاه انقلاب به صورت علنی و با حضور شاهدان و راویان آزار، اذیت و تعرض جنسی  و با حضور رسانه های مستقل برگزار شود. این درخواستها تحویل دفتر بند زنان زندان‌ اوین شده است.
این دادگاه برای رسیدگی به اتهام “تبلیغ علیه نظام “، به علت اعتراض و روایت او از تعرض جنسی به زنان زندانی و بازداشت شده، روز ۱۹ خرداد برگزار خواهد شد.
