The environmental activists’ case was one of the most baseless & deceitful cases orchestrated by security services against civil society.
In this case, the Revolutionary Guards committed murder, physical and psychological torture, and sexual harassment.
Sepideh Kashani, Niloufar Bayani, Hooman Jokar, Morad Tahbaz, Taher Ghadirian, Kavous Seyed-Emami, Sam Rajabi, and Amirhossein Khaleghi were arrested on June 22, 2017, and were kept for 2 years in solitary confinement in Ward 2A of the Revolutionary Guards. During this time, they were subjected to intense and brutal psychological and physical torture, and sexual harassment.
This case, which accused environmentalists of spying and corruption, among other things, was one of the most unjust and made-up cases brought by the Revolutionary Guards against activists and civil society. It followed a strange, illegal, and inhumane path.
This case was filled with lies, delusions, and baseless allegations, page by page. The corrupt judicial system of the Islamic Republic used this misinformation, which they themselves had written, to subject environmentalists to death, long solitary confinements, and prison times, and even to extract a significant amount of money from them.
Sepideh Kashani and Niloufar Bayani, our dear cellmates in Evin Prison, have been granted their freedom.

پرونده‌ی محیط زیستی ها یکی از بی‌اساس‌ترین و فریبکارانه‌ترین پرونده‌های نهادهای امنیتی علیه نهادهای مدنی بود. در این‌پرونده، سپاه پاسداران مرتکب قتل و شکنجه جسمی و اذیت و آزار جنسی بی‌شرمانه علیه متهمان شد.
سپیده کاشانی، نیلوفر بیانی، هومن جوکار، مراد طاهباز، طاهر قدیریان، کاووس سیدامامی، سام رجبی و امیرحسین خالقی در تاریخ ۹۶/۴/۱۱ بازداشت و دو سال در سلول‌های انفرادی ۲-الف سپاه پاسداران تحت شدیدترین فشارهای روحی و روانی همراه با شکنجه جسمی نگه داشته شدند.
این پرونده با اتهامات جاسوسی، افساد فی‌الارض و…یکی از بی‌اساس‌ترین و پوشالی‌ترین پرونده‌های سپاه پاسداران علیه فعالان و نهادهای مدنی بود که سیر عجیب، غیرقانونی و غیرانسانی طی کرد.
پرونده‌ای که صفحه به صفحه‌ی آن با دروغ، توهم، ادعاهای بی‌اساس، دسیسه و فریب تشکیل شد و سیستم قضایی معیوب و نامشروع و وابسته به رژیم با استناد به همان پرونده، متهمان را به کام مرگ، تحمل سلول‌های انفرادی طاقت‌فرسا و زندان‌های طولانی‌مدت فرستاد و مبلغ هنگفتی را هم از متهمان به جیب خود زد.
سپیده کاشانی و نیلوفر بیانی، عزیزان بند زنان اوین آزاد شدند.
