Raisi’s Memorial Day at the UN: A Grim Commemoration
The memorial day for Raisi at the United Nations is in reality a day commemorating gallows, executions, and mass killings against the people of Iran.
When the governments of the world place a flagrant violator of human rights and a butcher in the history of Iran, who until his death was a tool of suppressing a nation, in a position as if they have lost a peace-loving and democratic person, one should no longer expect that dictators, oppressors, human rights violators, torturers, and death-bringing executioners will not emerge elsewhere in the world. For they see and are assured that on their death day, the UN flag will be at half-mast, and the world’s politicians and statesmen will offer condolences, while the voices of the helpless and oppressed protesters will hit the wall of “diplomatic relations” and the “precedents” of states.
Opening the doors of the United Nations as a refuge for nations to commemorate Raisi is, in fact, closing the painfully broken doors of the human rights base in this global organization, which I deeply regret.
I am concerned for human rights, which remain lonely and unprotected, for peace, which remains voiceless, and for the people of Iran.
Without a doubt, we, the proud people of Iran, are well aware and witness that Raisi, both in the 1980s as a member of the “Death Commission” that created the Khavaran massacres and in recent years, when he was named president of the Islamic Republic with minimal elections and suppressed and killed protesters during the magnificent Mahsa uprising, stands as a criminal in the history of our land.
The absence of executioners, dictators, and human rights violators is the foundation of our freedom and victory.

روز یاد بود رئیسی در سازمان ملل به واقع روز گرامیداشت چوبه های دار، اعدام و کشتار جمعی علیه مردم ایران است.
وقتی دولت های جهان ، ناقض فاحش حقوق بشر و جلاد تاریخ سرزمین ایران را که تا روز مرگش ابزار سرکوب یک ملت بود، در جایگاهی قرار می دهند که گویی انسانی صلح طلب و دموکرات را از دست داده اند، دیگر نباید انتظار داشت که دیکتاتورها، سرکوبگران، ناقضان حقوق بشر ، شکنجه گران و جلادان مرگ آفرین دیگری در جاهای دیگر جهان سر برنیاورند. چرا که مشاهده و یقین می کنند که روز مرگشان پرچم سازمان‌ملل نیمه برافراشته و سیاستمداران و دولتمردان جهان تسلیت گو خواهند بود و صدای مردمان معترض بی پناه و تحت ستم به دیوار ” روابط دیپلماتیک” و ” اقدامات مسبوق به سابقه” ی دولتها خواهد خورد.
گشودن در سازمان ملل به عنوان ملجا ملل برای یاد بود رئیسی در واقع بستن درد آلود در شکسته پایگاه حقوق بشر در این سازمان جهانی است که عمیقا ابراز تاسف می کنم.
برای حقوق بشر که تنها و بی پناه مانده ، برای صلح که بی صدا مانده و برای مردم ایران نگرانم.
بی تردید ما مردم سربلند ایران نیک آگاه و شاهدیم که رئیسی چه در دهه شصت به عنوان یکی از اعضای “هیئت مرگ” که خاوران ها خلق کرد و چه در سال‌های اخیر که با انتخاباتی حداقلی رئیس دولت جمهوری اسلامی نامیده شد و سرکوب و کشتار معترضان را در خیزش ها و جنبش باشکوه مهسا رقم زد، در جایگاه جنایتکار تاریخ سرزمین ما نشسته است.
خلا جلادان و دیکتاتورها و ناقضان حقوق بشر، ملا آزادی و پیروزی ماست.
