A three-day ceremony was held in the women's ward of Evin Prison to commemorate World Labor Day. This event was the result of several days of collective work by a significant number of prisoners. On the first day, a "Worker's Gallery" was set up. Handwritten posters were affixed to the walls. Some of these posters contained points from labor law, reminding readers of their rights. The women's ward at Evin Prison has witnessed the bravery of many journalists, and currently houses two such individuals. Vida Rabbani, a journalist and member of the Tehran Journalists' Association, was first detained in December 2019 for reporting on a protest at Amir Kabir University against the downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752.
