Narges Mohammadi will address Italian Parliament on anniversary of “Woman Life Freedom”
On the third anniversary of the killing of Mahsa Jina Amini and the beginning of the historic “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement in Iran, the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament will host a press conference honoring those who have bravely fought, resisted, and kept this movement alive in countless forms.
Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Narges Mohammadi will deliver the keynote address live from her apartment in Tehran, where she is temporarily out of prison. She will be joined by Laura Boldrini, OMRI, Member of Parliament (Democratic Party), Chair of the Standing Committee of the Chamber of Deputies on Human Rights, former President of the Chamber of Deputies, and former Spokesperson for the UNHCR in Southern Europe.
Also addressing the session will be Parisa Nazari, human rights and women’s rights defender, Shady Alizadeh, lawyer member of the Italian Democratic Party PD, and Riccardo Noury, spokesperson of Amnesty International Italy.
They will provide insights on the ongoing resistance in Iran, the future of women’s rights in the region, and the global impact of this struggle for justice, equality, and freedom.

In occasione del terzo anniversario dell’uccisione di Mahsa Jina Amini e dell’inizio del movimento storico “Donna, Vita, Libertà” in Iran, la Camera dei Deputati ospiterà una conferenza stampa per rendere omaggio a chi ha coraggiosamente lottato, resistito e tenuto viva questa mobilitazione in tante forme diverse.
Il Premio Nobel per la Pace Narges Mohammadi interverrà in collegamento dal suo appartamento a Teheran, dove si trova temporaneamente fuori dal carcere. Sarà affiancata da On. Laura Boldrini, deputata del Partito Democratico, Presidente del Comitato permanente sui diritti umani nel mondo della Camera dei Deputati, già Presidente della Camera e già Portavoce dell’Alto Commissariato ONU per i Rifugiati (UNHCR) per il Sud Europa.
Prenderanno la parola anche Parisa Nazari, difensora dei diritti umani e diritti delle donne, Shady Alizadeh, avvocata esponente del Partito Democratico, e Riccardo Noury, portavoce di Amnesty International Italia. Porteranno analisi e testimonianze sulla situazione in Iran, sul futuro dei diritti delle donne nella regione e sull’impatto globale di questa lotta per la giustizia, l’uguaglianza e la libertà.

نرگس محمدی در سالگرد جنبش «زن، زندگی، آزادی» در پارلمان ایتالیا سخنرانی خواهد کرد
در سومین سالگرد کشته شدن مهسا ژینا امینی و آغاز جنبش تاریخی «زن، زندگی، آزادی» در ایران، مجلس نمایندگان پارلمان ایتالیا کنفرانس خبری برگزار می‌کند تا از کسانی تقدیر شود که با شجاعت مبارزه کرده، مقاومت کرده و این جنبش را به اشکال گوناگون زنده نگه داشته‌اند.
برنده جایزه صلح نوبل، نرگس محمدی، سخنرانی اصلی را به صورت زنده از آپارتمان خود در تهران، جایی که موقتاً از زندان آزاد شده، ایراد خواهد کرد. در این مراسم لورا بولدرینی، عضو پارلمان ایتالیا از حزب دموکرات، رئیس سابق مجلس نمایندگان و رئیس کمیته دائم مجلس در امور حقوق بشر، و سخنگوی پیشین کمیساریای عالی پناهندگان سازمان ملل در جنوب اروپا حضور خواهد داشت.
همچنین پریسا نظری، فعال حقوق بشر و حقوق زنان، شادی علیزاده، وکیل عضو حزب دموکرات ایتالیا (PD)، و ریکاردو نوری، سخنگوی عفو بین‌الملل ایتالیا، به سخنرانی خواهند پرداخت.
حاضران دیدگاه‌هایی درباره مقاومت مستمر در ایران، آینده حقوق زنان در منطقه و تأثیر جهانی این مبارزه برای عدالت، برابری و آزادی ارائه خواهند کرد.
