Narges Mohammadi Pays Tribute to Grieving Families on Fifth Anniversary of Flight PS752
On the eve of the fifth anniversary of the downing of Flight PS752, Narges Mohammadi honored the victims of the Islamic Republic’s actions and paid her respects to the families who continue to seek justice with a message she published addressed to the families.
She stood in solidarity with their grief and relentless pursuit of accountability.
Manzar Zarrabi, Justice-Seeking Mother of Flight PS752 Victims, Visited Narges Mohammadi earlier last week.
On Thursday, December 26th, Manzar Zarrabi, who tragically lost two children, a daughter-in-law, and a grandchild in the IRGC missile attack on PS752, visited Narges Mohammadi, accompanied by a group of teachers, human rights activists & civil society activists.
Manzar Zarrabi shared the motivation behind her visit: “Narges Mohammadi is the bright voice of justice in the darkness of prison. During the bitter days following this crime against humanity, she raised her voice in protest from behind cold prison walls. She chose not to live a peaceful, carefree life with her family, but instead stood beside grieving and justice-seeking mothers. Her life is dedicated to the pursuit of truth and justice, even amid illness and captivity.”
Narges Mohammadi Reflects on the Meaning of the Meeting today by sharing her thoughts on the significance of this encounter: “ Seeing the black shirts and tear-streaked faces of the grieving families is a reminder of an unforgettable crime. A crime that was concealed for days and, after being exposed, was not subject to fair and legal investigation. Seeking justice is our duty until the day justice is served we will keep fighting.”
