Amnesty Calls for the Release of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate: “Narges Mohammadi must be immediately and unconditionally released and given all necessary medical care.”

“The Iranian authorities have been subjecting arbitrarily detained jailed human rights defender Narges Mohammadi to torture and other ill-treatment by deliberately denying and delaying her access to adequate healthcare, including for a grave heart condition.

Narges Mohammadi must be immediately and unconditionally released, and provided all the medical care needed, pending her release.”

 

Amnesty Iran said today in a post on social media, along with a video of Ali and Kiana Rahmani, children of Narges Mohammadi, explaining the urgent situation of their mother. In this video, they highlight that their mother is in the hospital after nine weeks of medical denial by Islamic Republic authorities.
