The Islamic Republic must be held accountable for the murder of Seyyed Mohammad Mir-Mousavi under the brutal torture of its agents.
How shameless is it for Islamic Republic to call the killing of an innocent man under torture an “exception” and to describe the systematic, deadly torture in detentions as merely the “loss of control of emotions and anger of the agents” and “excitement caused by friction”?
Is this the same government that executed a young protester of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement for placing a garbage bin in the middle of the street as a form of civil protest, and now declares the heinous crime of its agents as merely a loss of control of emotions and anger?
The Islamic Republic is a regime steeped in hatred, oppression, and discrimination—not only against its critics, protesters, and opponents but also against its own people. A regime that has turned its back on law, justice, honor, and humanity.
What understanding does this government have of the excruciating suffering of the helpless, oppressed people? What does it comprehend about the hardships faced by people in conditions of poverty, inflation, unemployment, and a myriad of untreatable pains resulting from the government’s wholly corrupt and discriminatory policies, as they raise their children to become strong, promising young adults and hopes for their families, only for their precious lives to be taken so easily by government agents in torture chambers, on gallows, or in the streets?
The cruelty, ruthlessness, and relentless oppression of the government create an “exceptional” spectacle for human history each day, leading humanity into mourning. A spectacle where the government turns into a gamble with our lives. A gamble that will ultimately result in a great loss for the Islamic Republic regime.

جمهوری اسلامی باید پاسخگوی قتل عمد سید محمد میرموسوی زیر شکنجه‌ی وحشیانه‌ی مأمورانش باشد.
حکومت چه بلاهت‌بار و بی‌شرمانه کشته شدنِ یک انسانِ بی‌گناه را زیر شکنجه، “استثناء” و شکنجه‌ی سیستماتیکِ مرگبار در بازداشتگاه را “عدمِ کنترلِ احساسات و خشمِ مأمور” و ” هیجان ناشی از اصطکاک” می‌نامد.
آیا این حکومت همان حکومتی است که معترضِ جوانِ جنبش “زن، زندگی، آزادی” را به جرم گذاشتن یک سطلِ زباله وسط خیابان به‌عنوان یک حرکتِ اعتراضی‌ِ مدنی اعدام کرد و اکنون جنایتِ فاجعه‌بار مأمورانش را عدمِ کنترلِ احساسات و خشم مأمورانش اعلام می‌کند؟
جمهوری اسلامی رژیمی آکنده از نفرت، ستم و تبعیض نه فقط علیه منتقد، معترض و مخالفِ خود بلکه علیه‌ِ مردم خویش است. رژیمی که روی خود را از قانون، عدالت، شرافت و انسانیت برگردانده است.
این حکومت چه درکی از رنجِ جان‌کاه مردمِ بی‌پناه تحت ستم دارد. چه می‌فهمد که مردم به چه سختی در شرایط فقر، تورم، بی‌کاری و هزار و یک دردِ بی‌درمانِ حاصل از سیاست‌های سراپا فسادآلود و تبعیض آمیز حکومت، فرزندانشان را بزرگ می‌کنند که جوانی رعنا و رشید و امیدی برای آینده‌ی خانواده شوند و چه راحت به دستِ مأمورانِ حکومت در شکنجه‌گاه‌ها، بر سر طناب‌های دار یا کف خیابان‌های شهر، جانِ عزیزشان را می‌ستانند؟
شقاوت، سنگدلی و ظلمِ توقف‌ناپذیر و بی‌امانِ حکومت، هر روز نمایشی “استثنایی” برای تاریخ بشریت خلق می‌کند و جامعه بشری را به سوگ می نشاند. نمایشی که در آن حکومت به قمارِ مرگ و زندگی ما انسان‌ها بدل شده‌است. قماری که در پایان باخت بزرگی را برای حکومت دینی استبدادی رقم خواهد زد.
